Handmade pottery from Vietnamese clays. He works from his studio in Hanoi and spends part of each year in Vancouver.
The potter
Self-taught,
and still learning.
Hải began his ceramic career in 2012, though the world of firing and glazing had captured his interest long before. He has never taken a traditional pottery course. He works with body clays from different regions of Vietnam, testing their physical properties and developing firing techniques of his own.
